The 2014 Summer School returned for a third year to the Sevenoaks School in in Kent, for Sunday 17th August – Saturday 23rd August 2014 inclusive. Simon Weir’s final year in charge of summer school was another fantastic opportunity for music making, drama and all round fun.
This annual residential week included workshops in singing, music and drama, opportunities for swimming and other sports, the famous FCMG cabaret, and rehearsing for the Saturday afternoon choral concert and fully-staged opera, operetta or musical.
The production was of Der Freischütz (The Marksman) by Carl Maria von Weber.
