In 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our annual Residential Summer School was replaced by a Non-Residential Week of singing for Senior & Chamber Choirs. The activities were organised outdoors under gazebos on the Ivy Wood site at King Alfred School. Members of the Intermediate Choir were also offered a singing workshop day with Rebecca Lodge Birkebæk.
Singing Week Programme:
- Choral singing sessions
- Scenes from an opera, operetta or musical
- Movement/ Drama games
- Individual coaching as appropriate
- A recorded performance at the end of the week
